Adventure Land - BUILD X PLAY

A collaboration with HCSA to build a play space for children. Designed with the concept of free-play and up-cycling in mind, this island is filled with exciting activities that encourages creativity and activeness.

Reflection

In a blink of an eye we have completed the project journey in collaboration with HCSA to create a play space for kids to have fun. I am very grateful to be given this opportunity to work closely with the helpful HCSA staffs and our really enthusiastic beneficiaries the parents and their children. Through this whole design process I have gain more understanding about HCSA which is a charitable organisation and the community itself.

Personally I am a person who enjoys interacting with kids, so I thoroughly enjoyed myself and was really elated and excited when we were given the design brief. I felt that this project is very meaningful as not only we can interact closely with our beneficiaries, we get to apply what we have been taught into action.

As a group, we have work closely together throughout the whole project having an end goal in mind which is to design the very best we can for our beneficiaries. I am really blessed and grateful to have work with my fabulous group mates over this span of time. It was really many hours put in together and was really satisfying at the end.

Also really thankful for the lecturers who have been there for us and readily giving us their helping hands that we could better improve our designs. All in all, through this project I have take a greater liking in designing and spurred me to design even better in the future!
