Design Inspiration

My design has a detailing at the mouth of the ring and set box is inspired by Lee Hwa Jewellery very own logo. It also holds great significance as the detailing is like of two puzzle pieces fixed together perfectly. Which is the meaning that Lee Hwa Jewellery perfectly fits the customers needs and wants on a special personal and comforting level just like two matching puzzle pieces.

Client Project - Design Brief

Main product usage is to package the jewellery for customer upon purchase. There will not be no fixed colour. Design must be befitting of Lee Hwa Jewellery’s image of luxurious fine jewellery.• Packaging must be able to go into mass production, with a budget of not more than $5 per box.

Various sizes: To fit one ring/ one pair of earrings/ one pendant/ one necklace AND one set to fit all 4.

Material Choice

For the materials and colours, the both the 2 boxes will be dark blue matte, gold foiled stamping away from the top box border equally and respectively and white matte logo be stamped on top. The ring holder will be of wire cover with a fake silky material that can bend to fit a large range of finger sizes. The clothe where the jewellery lies will be of fake silky material to protect them.

Colour Choice

Blue signifies power, authority, comfort. Which fits the image of Lee Hwa Jewellery being the trend setter. Gold signifies double glory, an even more prosperous year for Lee Hwa Jewellery than ever before. White signifies purity, serenity a beauty by itself. That Lee Hwa Jewellery is very humble in nature.
